London the city of joy and excitement for people from all walks of life.

We at Ceylon Radio have been living here for a while now and it has been a joyful experience of our lives.  Today I would like share what’s hot and new in this city. This is the 2013 documentary done after collecting all the hottest news from London.

For anyone who is new for this city, London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom.  Is has been estimated that 8,308,369 residents are living here by last year. London is the most populous region, urban zone and metropolitan area in the United Kingdom.

Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia, its history going back to its founding by the Romans, who named it Londinium.  London’s ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) mediaeval boundaries.
