The above event was a well-attended event organised by the Management Committee under the guidance of the Chief Sanga Nayake of Sri Lanka Ramanya Maha Nikaya to Great Britain and Chief Incumbent of both Birmingham Jethavana Viharaya and Sri Sambuddha Viharay in Liverpool, Ven. Keppetiyagoda Gunawansa Nayaka Thero.
This noble event, which was held on 8 February, from 6pm to 8.00pm, was conducted by ven. Thissapura Sugatharathana thero, the resident Buddhist Monk of Sri Sambuddha Viharaya.
This ‘pinkama’ was held to strengthen relationship between parents and children and also adhere to our cultural and value system. The pinkama was started with a special ‘Bodhi Puja’ to bless devotees and followed by Mau-Piya Vandana.
